Fourth Hokage (四代目火影, Yondaime Hokage)
Flying Thunder God Kunai (Manga Only)
According to the Naruto series, during his time, Minato was the disciple of Jiraiya. He was also the creator of the Rasengan. Over time his skills were recognized by the people of his village and as a result he became Hokage.
Minato was a fair-skinned man who's physical appearance is comparable to Naruto; both have bright, blue eyes and spiky, blond hair. Minato also had jaw-length bangs framing either side of his face. His attire consisted of a standard Konoha-nin uniform with two bands each on both of his sleeves, a leaf green flak jacket, blue forehead protector, and blue sandals. He also sports a short-sleeved long white haori over his normal attire.
His personality is unknown in the spin-off, however it is implied that since he is the fourth leader of Konohagakure he has great leadership skills in maintaing peace in his village during his time.
As the fourth leader of his village, it is implied that he was strong during his life time.
As its creator, Minato had great mastery over the Rasengan.
Minato's signature ability was the Flying Thunder God Technique. His usage with this technique gave him the name "Konoha's Yellow Flash". Using the technique, he could instantly move to the location of anything marked with his special seal, whether a tool, place, or person that was branded. Minato could bring others with him, though he needed to provide the chakra for their transport.
Minato had his own special brand of kunai for combat; triple-prong kunai for better offensive potential. Their main use came from the Flying Thunder God seals they were marked with, allowing him to teleport to wherever one of the kunai was thrown.
- In Naruto SD: Rock Lee no Seishun Full-Power Ninden episode 17, Minato was seen in both the posters of Road to Ninja: Naruto the Movie and Road to Guy (having the face of Guy but with his usual characteristics), however, his official debut was in Naruto SD: Rock Lee no Seishun Full-Power episode 37.
