Sakura Haruno (春野サクラ, Haruno Sakura) is a kunoichi of Konohagakure. She is a member of Team Kakashi as well as Rock Lee's and Naruto Uzumaki's crush.

During her early years in the Academy, Sakura had a crush on Sasuke Uchiha. After graduating from the Academy, along with her other team-mates, she was put under the guidance of her team leader, Kakashi Hatake and paired up with Naruto Uzumaki and Sasuke Uchiha. By the time Sasuke left the village, she had trained under Tsunade to tried to become an exceptional kunoichi.
Personality
Sakura is compassionate, determined, and kind hearted. Sakura has also shown that she does not back down from a fight, a trait she inherited from her master's contempt for losing.[1] Sakura has also shown a perverted side, from getting excited by Konohamaru Sarutobi's Sexy: Boy on Boy Technique and wanting to see Konohamaru's improve version.[2]
Ever since she entered the Academy, Sakura had a deep infatuation for Sasuke Uchiha. Even by the time Sasuke defected from Konoha, Sakura still feels affection towards him: for example, Sakura keeps a photo of Team Kakashi but with Naruto and Kakashi cut off. [3]
Throughout the Naruto series and the spin-off, Sakura's personality is mainly brash. Usually whenever Sakura has these feelings she would have violent outbursts, hit the intended target such as Lee or Naruto and shout out "Shānnarō!" (しゃーんなろー) — a phrase which has no literal meaning, but is usually translated as "Hell yeah!", "Hell no!", or "Damn it!", depending on the situation. The English anime, for censorship reasons, replaced the aforementioned phrases with a forceful "Cha!".
Appearance
Sakura has short cherry blossom pink hair, big mint green eyes and fair skin. She wears a cherry red top, black shorts with a old rose apron over it, lilac elbow protecters, black gloves, black shoes and a forehead protector with red cloth, which she uses as a headband. She usually carries a pink medical pouch with her.
When Sakura was a genin, she wore a cherry red qipao dress with white circular designs, with or without short sleeves, with a zipper, tight teal shorts, and a blue forehead protector which she used to accentuate her face. During the time Sasuke was still in Konohagakure, her hair was very long. She later cut her hair by the time she was training with Tsunade.

Sakura acquired tremendously great taijutsu skills thanks to Tsunade's training. By enhancing herself with chakra, she can easily shatter the earth beneath her or obliterate obstacles with a simple strike. An opponent struck by her could suffer huge injuries.
