Hanabi Hyūga (日向ハナビ, Hyūga Hanabi) is a kunoichi from Konohagakure's Hyūga clan.
Appearance[]

Hanabi has dark brown hair with long parted bangs with a single lock of hair falling into her face. She also has large, white eyes - a trait shared by all members of her clan. At the start of the spin-off she was seen in her Part I which included a sleeveless, blue v-neck shirt, with mesh armour underneath and blue shorts and sandals.
During chapter 34, Hanabi took on her Part II appearance. Hanabi has cut her hair short and wears a modified version of her original outfit and has a vest jacket with wristbands on both hands. Her footwear is shinobi sandals with bands around her ankles.
Personality[]

Hanabi is a serious and calm individual. Hanabi can also be rather rude as shown when she told Lee to shut up when he was trying to talk to her for the first time. She has also shown to be competitive and confident in her abilities as she was eager to test her strength against her older sister. Despite this, Hanabi has shown to be respectful towards Hinata.
Abilities[]
Hanabi's skills have shown to be quite formidable. At a young age her father praised her skills, stating her being much more skilled than her older sister.
Byakugan[]

As a member of the Hyūga clan, Hanabi possessed the Byakugan, a dōjutsu kekkei genkai which granted her near 360-degree vision, along with x-ray vision, and the ability to see chakra networks, amongst other things.
Taijutsu[]

As a member of the Hyūga clan, Hanabi specialised in close-range taijutsu combat. Due to her training with her father, Hiashi Hyūga, Hanabi has learned many special taijutsu moves. Even at a young age, she has shown to be able to use the Eight Trigrams Thirty-Two Palms, a strong offensive version of the Eight Trigrams Sixty-Four Palms.

Part 1: Neji's Cousin, Hinata[]
Hanabi made a non-speaking appearance when Lee and the others visited Neji's house.
Hinata Hyūga vs Hanabi Hyūga!![]

In the Hyūga household, Hanabi and her father meet with her sister and cousin. Hanabi then sense an enemy near by. She then attacked the enemy, the enemy turning out to be Lee. Hanabi then comes inside and overhears Lee talking about a battle between her and Hinata. She found this interesting and challenged Hinata to a battle. Hanabi clashed with Hinata, both using the Eight Trigrams Thirty-Two Palms. As a result they both jammed their fingers. Hanabi then made her next move and used Eight Trigrams Father's Sock and Eight Trigrams Thirty-Two Socks. She then saw a opening and used Eight Trigrams Thirty-Two Palms once again. Hinata however withstood the attack and got back up and used Gentle Step Twin Lions Eight Trigrams Thirty-Two Palms and defeated Hanabi. Seeing how her older sister won the battle, she told Hinata that she will improve next time.
